ARTHUR GETS A NEW HOME

Exhausted, covered in mud and desperately hungry, a team of Swedish athletes sat down for a meal as they prepared to take on a dangerous 20-mile trek through the Ecuadorian rainforest.

As they opened their canned meat, a tired Mikael Lindnord noticed a scruffy, miserable stray dog staring at him out of the corner of his eye.

Feeling sorry for him, he fed the dog a meatball and thought nothing of it, but as the team stood up to continue their race the animal started to follow them - and he didn't stop.

As the group of four navigated the final two stages of the 430-mile Adventure Racing World Championship, the dog befriended them and was eventually given the name Arthur.

Every grueling task the team face, Arthur would do the same. He swam alongside them while they kayaked down rivers, dragged himself up hills during hikes and pulled through knee-deep mud during treks.

Even when the team tried to get rid of their new member out of concerns for his safety - he refused to leave.

GRANDPA 3... PUNK BOYS -1

A Lumberton man is recovering after exchanging gunfire with three suspects who forced their way into his home and allegedly attempted to rape his granddaughter. Robeson County Sheriff Kenneth Sealey said around 10 p.m. Monday, deputies were called to 67-year-Kenneth Byrd’s home in the 100 block of Yedda Road in east Lumberton about a reported shooting.

When authorities arrived, they found Byrd suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. His wife, 65-year-old Judy Byrd, and their 19-year-old granddaughter were also at the home.

The family told officials that the incident started when a man came to their door claiming to have car problems and needed water. Two other men wearing black clothing, ski masks and gloves then forced their way into the house and demanded money.

All three suspects were armed.

The late 20-year-old Jamie Lee Faison, 28-year-old Brandon Carver Stephens of Fairmont (CENTER) who had recently been released from prison and 17-year-old Jamar Hawkins of Lumberton. One dead rat, two hurting POS who I only hope don’t recover either.

The elderly couple was forced to the back of the home and ordered to open a safe. Then the losers made their fatal mistake: They tried to rape the couple’s granddaughter, which prompted Kenneth Byrd to grab his gun and start blasting the bastards. Go Grampa!

All the invaders were injured, before fleeing in Byrd’s gold Cadillac (of course he has a caddy!). 20-year-old Jamie Lee Faison, was later found dead from a gunshot wound inside Byrd’s stolen vehicle on Singletary Church Road in Lumberton. Shame. Hate when that happens.

NYPD OFFICERS KILLED...

MORE HAS BEEN PUBLISHED ON THE SCUM WHO SHOT THEM IN COLD BLOOD THAN THE OFFICERS WHO PROTECT AND SERVE. HE TOLD OTHERS WHAT HE WAS GOING TO DO, WHO SPOKE-UP A WARNING?

THE SEWER RAT SHOT HIS COWARDLY ASS IN A NEW YORK SUBWAY AND THEY TRIED TO REVIVE HIM... WHY?

It’s not really a big shocker to say those serving in the military aren’t big fans of Barack Obama, but when you see just how much our men and women in uniform despise their “Commander-In-Chief,” it will simply blow your mind.

This is astounding, yet for some strange reason, very comforting.

… The long-term effects of Obama’s social policies on the military remain unknown. But one thing is clear: He is a deeper unpopular commander in chief among the troops.

According to a Military Times survey of almost 2,300 active-duty service members, Obama’s popularity — never high to begin with — has crumbled, falling from 35 percent in 2009 to just 15 percent this year, while his disapproval ratings have increased to 55 percent from 40 percent over that time.

So I guess completely disrespecting the military by attempting to cut their pay raises, not awarding them certain benefits they need to cover their medical bills, and preventing them from receiving adequate healthcare takes a negative toll on how they perceive leadership.

Who would’ve thought?

Obama has repeatedly slammed our armed forces and through his many lawless actions has proven he’s not leadership material, nor does he possess qualities our troops can admire or look up to.

How can a man effectively lead the nation’s military if those under him don’t like him or trust him?

The simple answer is he can’t, which is why our foreign policy is a joke and our response to threats to our freedom and safety continue to go largely unchecked.

Let’s hope the next occupant of the Oval Office is someone who respects, reveres, and loves our military and can effectively perform the duties of their office to keep America safe.
