YOU’LL CRY: A Dying Dog’s Last Day Is Both Beautiful And So Sad

Duke Roberts is a black labrador retriever from Houston, TX that was adopted by Jordan Roberts about three years ago. Not very long after being adopted, Duke was diagnosed with osteosarcoma, a cancerous bone tumor, and had one of his front legs removed. The tumor had spread and Jordan had to make the heart-wrenching decision to put down Duke so that he could be free from pain. Duke was put down on July 7 and his last day was documented and photographed by Robyn Arouty. Make sure you have tissues close by.

“And we laughed.”

“And I thought about how much I’m going to miss it here.”

“We told jokes.”

“We were serious.”

Kristen came to see me. She’s a hoot. She’s my groomer. And my buddy.”

“While we were waiting for the vet to come, Kristen said we were going for a walk. Then someone said, “How about a play in the water at the splash park down the street?” So off we went!”

“I need you to help me watch over my family.”

“Do you hear me? This is all I want!”

“We smiled today.”

“We broke the rules today.”

“I listened to the kids play off in the distance. And thought about my two babies at home. I loved protecting them.”

“I relaxed today.”

“I felt no pain. Even though the tumor grew so big.”

“I felt the love today.”

“I said goodbye to my beautiful friend Kira. She ‘saw’ me standing over everybody before the doctor said it was time. I was excited & jumpy & happy.”

“Well, I didn’t say goodbye. I said ’til we meet again.”

“God, I was lucky. Our time was short. But you both gave me a second chance & we lived it up together. You love when I look at you. I’ll never stop.”

Israeli forces killed a leader of Islamic Jihad’s military wing and two of his sons early Friday with an airstrike on their home in the southern Gaza Strip, as the Palestinian death toll topped 800 in the battle’s 18th day. A 36-year-old reservist also fell in combat in Gaza’s north, the military said, bringing the number of Israeli soldiers killed over the past week to 33.

MOTO GP SUCKS BIG TIME!

BIG SPORT BIKE RACING HAS BEEN AROUND FOR A LONG TIME... DO YOU KNOW THESE GUYS? COLIN EDWARDS HAS BEEN AROUND FOR A LONG TIME. HE IS HELPING DEVELOP A SECOND STRING MOTO GP MACHINE BEFORE HE RETIRES AT THE END OF THE SEASON. HE IS RIDING A BIKE WHICH SHOULD NOT EVEN BE IN MOTO GP. THE MOTO 2 BIKES COULD PROBABLY CLEAN-UP ON THESE BIKES.

LAST YEAR IN MOTO GP EVERYBODY PISSED ALL OVER THEMSELVES BECAUSE MARC MARQUEZ WAS DRAGGING HIS ELBOWS. NO BIG DEAL, HAVE YOU BEEN WATCHING JORGE LORENZO? THIS IS BEN BOSTROM, RIDING IN 2002, AND IF HE WANTED TO DRAG HIS KNUCKLES... WELL THERE YOU ARE.

MOTO GP IS NOT FUN TO WATCH, THE MOTO GP BIKES ARE SPREAD OUT OVER 4 FACTORIES AND BOTH HONDAS ARE VERY GOOD. THE REST OF THE FIELD BEGS FOR RAIN TO HAVE A CHANCE. EVEN ROSSI IS PROUD OF A SECOND PLACE...

Jay Branscomb posted the photo on Sunday along with the caption: “Disgraceful photo of recreational hunter happily posing next to a Triceratops he just slaughtered. Please share so the world can name and shame this despicable man.”

The image has since picked up more than 11,000 likes, almost 35,000 shares and over 6,000 comments, many of which applauded the joke. Others, not so much.

“That’s Steven Spielberg, director of Jurassic Park!” one user wrote.

“I don’t care who he is he should not have shot that animal,” another responded.

DOPE FOR A DAY!

When Obama stopped in at Master Lock in Milwaukee, Wisconsin last week, he was walking the plant and stopped to talk with a plant employee and looked up at the banner hanging on the wall and said to the worker and people around him, "It is great to be in a union shop, especially one as old as this union is " - - - - pointing to the banner.

He then said, "A Union shop since 1848" - - - and then he went on to talk on what that banner stood for and how important it was to display it and show your union support.

The worker then said to Obama that it was the flag of the State of Wisconsin - - which was founded in 1848, and that the shop was Non-Union.

This was only reported by a local radio station in Milwaukee (1130AM) and not by the major news networks. They didn't want to embarrass this "got no friggin' clue "President"

Since they didn't do their job of reporting on this presidential visit, the only way for the news to get around is by us - on the Internet. The White House media said he skipped Wisconsin & just went to Minn & Chicago.

Do your job; I just did mine, so voters will know what really happened here and just HOW BRIGHT THIS ASSHOLE REALLY IS !!!??? NOT!!
