Judicial Watch reports that Hezbollah commander Ali Mussa Daqduq, who tortured and killed 5 U.S. soldiers in Iraq and was detained by U.S. forces in early 2007, will be freed by an Iraqi court–the inevitable, and predictable, result of an Obama administration decision to hand him over to Iraqi authorities rather than bring him to Guantanamo Bay.
Judicial Watch summarizes the pathetic abdication of justice by the Obama administration:
We all knew this would happen back in December when the commander-in-chief handed over the Lebanese militant, Ali Mussa Daqduq, to Iraqi officials. A mainstream newspaper presented it as a “dilemma” for the president as American troops prepared to exit Iraq. Daqduq had been in U.S. military custody in Iraq since 2007 for his involvement in a carefully orchestrated plot that killed, kidnapped and tortured American military officers.

THEY SERVE... THEY SHOULD VOTE!
According to the sue-happy administration and Democrats, the Military has “no discernible rational basis” for needing extra time.
That’s a good argument considering Military absentee votes are seldom counted – but you have to think if you show up to vote in your own district, three days, or two days or one day early, you might get counted.
That’s the problem: counted Military votes. A Rasmussen Poll released on July 22nd shows that Vets prefer Romney 59% to 35%. My assumption is that “veterans” are different from “active duty” Military, and I haven’t found a poll of candidate preference among active duty Military – other than knowing they have contributed heavily to Ron Paul. Considering that, unless someone throws away their vote and writes him in or votes for Gary Johnson, Romney is closer to Paul than Obama (understatement? Yes.). Thanks to Bluegrass Pundit.

LIBERAL INTOLERANCE
Patriot Update recently posted a video on YouTube entitled, “6-Year-Old Gives 10 Reasons NOT to Vote for Obama!”, which has caused liberals to go on the warpath. With over 350,000 views and climbing, the venomous and hate-filled comments from the left are intolerable. Liberal around the country are accusing the parents of “brainwashing” and “exploiting” their child. (Somehow a bunch of elementary school children singing praises to Obama doesn’t count as “brainwashing or exploitation.”) Ironically, the left couldn’t care less if you abort your child. Teaching them conservative values, however, is tantamount to child abuse!

LIFEGUARDING IN OREGON
The guardian angel is busy this week teaching Boy Scouts to tie knots. It's a far cry from the sand at Rockaway Beach nearly a month ago -- when John Clark heard screams for help from a 12-year-old swept out to sea.
The call for help came just five days after Clark had been certified as a lifeguard.
"He had to do something," said Dan Clark, John's dad.
So John Clark dove in -- through the breakers and heavy swells -- to reach the boy in the ocean. Then he calmed the boy down, and kept him afloat.
"I don't know exactly how big the swells were," Clark said, "but they were big enough to push both of us underwater -- all the way down to where we were touching sand."
Jet skis arrived and pulled both of them to shore.
John had a headache, and the 12-year-old was wrapped in a blanket to warm up. Into the ambulance they both went.
'When we got the bill it was a shock'
Clark thought the trip to Tillamook General Hospital was standard procedure; he didn't give it a second thought until several weeks later ... when the bill arrived.
"I am extremely proud of him," his dad tells KOIN. "When we got the bill it was a shock."
The emergency room bill came to $449. The physician's bill was $227. The 15-mile ride in the ambulance to Tillamook: $2,007. The total bill for saving a young man's life? Nearly $2,700.

“I knew Obama at the University of Chicago,” Lott told Ingraham. “We both taught there at the same time for about four years, and I talked to him about guns. I know what his views are on that.
“The first time I ever met him, I went, introduced myself, he said, ‘Oh, you’re the gun guy,’” Lott recalled. “He said to me, ‘I don’t believe people should be able to own guns.’”

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DAD.
MY DAD RIDING ON THE LEFT WITH JOE LEMA. BOTH ON MULES HUNTING IN COLORADO. NITHIER CARED ABOUT THE BIG KILL, IT WAS MORE ABOUT SITTING AROUND THE CAMPFIRE DRINKING A GOOD STIFF SHOT. OLD GEEZERS KNEW WHAT FRIENDSHIP WAS ALL ABOUT. MULES? YEAH ALWAYS A BETTER RIDE THAN A HORSE... SMOOTH. THESE TWO WERE WORTH BIG BUCKS.
DAD AND FRED, GONE BUT NOT FORGOTTEN, SOMETIMES YOU JUST WANT TO PICK-UP THE PHONE AND GIVE 'EM A RING.
