GARY NIXON, A RACER'S RIDER, IN THE SADDLE HIS WHOLE LIFE. HIS RIDING PALED THE YOUNGSTERS OF TODAY. I WAS 15, BACK-IN-THE-DAY, WHEN I FIRST SAW HIM ON THE SAN JOSE MILE AND LATER ON THE 'OLD' SACRAMENTO MILE.
HE GAVE THE HARLEY LEGENDS HELL. HE RODE EVERYTHING, RACED WITH EVERYONE AND WAS A WORLD WIDE FACTORY 'SHOE'. GARY PASSED AWAY AT AGE 70 THIS WEEK.
