VALENTINO ROSSI AND HIS BUCKET OF TEARS!
THE HERO STATUS VALE HAS ALWAYS CARRIED, WENT DOWN THE DRAIN WHEN HE CRIED LIKE A LITTLE BITCH ABOUT MARKIE MARK-RIDING HIS BALLS OFF.
I THINK MARKIE-MARK HAS MADE IT A POINT TO GET IN ROSSI'S WAY AND HIS PRECIOUS LOVE FOR HIMSELF HAS SHOWN WHAT A SPOILED PRICK HE REALLY IS.
ROSSI SHOULD HAVE RACED HIM LOOKING TO THE FRONT AND HIS HONDA RIVAL WOULD HAVE SHOWN HIS PRISSY COLORS.
NOW HE HAS TO FOLLOW THE FREIGHT TRAIN TO KEEP LORENZO IN SIGHT... HOPE HE DOESN'T GET WIPED-OUT ON HIS JOURNEY THROUGH THE GUYS IN THE BACK OF THE PACK.
IF HE RIDES LIKE THE CHAMPION HE IS, HE WILL WIN THE SEASON. OTHERWISE DANNY AND LORENZO WILL BE SMILING AGAIN!
FOR LORENZO, HE CAN TAKE IT ALL. GO JORGE!

ROSSI IS PUTTING A SPELL ON MARQUEZ AND LORENZO
THE SHORT STORY: ROSSI SAYS MARQUEZ IS HELPING LORENZ TO WIN THE CHAMPIONSHIP.
FROM SUPERBIKEPLANET.COM. IT WENT LIKE THIS:
I thought it was a joke at first. Valentino Rossi saying that Marc Marquez had been trying to help Jorge Lorenzo during the Phillip Island race. Was this a joke, maybe one that lost something in translation? Apparently not. Both Vale and Andrea Iannone were sure that Marc had been 'playing with them' during the race. It is certainly true, and Marc has said it all along, that he overheated his front tyre and had to give it a rest before charging hard at the end. I am not sure how that is 'favouring' Lorenzo.
"Of course he helped me," said Jorge. "Especially on the last lap." To avoid doubt, that was sarcasm. Marquez overtook Lorenzo on the last lap of the Aussie GP to take the win.
VALENTINO LOST 7 POINTS TO LORENZO AT PHILLIP ISLAND. IF ONE CRASHES, THE OTHER WILL BE #1 AND THERE IS ONLY ONE RACE LEFT AFTER TODAYS PURGE IN MALAYSIA. THAT OUTCOME WILL BE ON TV IN A FEW HOURS.
WHOEVER LOSES GETS DOWNGRADED TO THE BENELLI DYNAMO IN 2016.
AND ANDREA IANNONE IS RIDING THE TIRES OFF HIS DUCATI.
A COUPLE OF REASONS FOR NO MORE MOTO GP AT INDY...
CHECK THE ATTENDANCE IN THE STANDS FOR THE MOTO GP RACE... IN EUROPE THERE ARE MORE PEOPLE IN THE BATHROOMS THAN THESE FEW SOULS.
ON PRACTICE DAYS THE VIEW FROM THE STANDS IS ALWAYS WIDE OPEN FOR WHEREVER YOU WANT TO BE.
I HAD FAIR TIMES THERE, BUT WITHOUT THE INDY MILE DIRT TRACK RACE ON SATURDAY NIGHT... IT WAS NOT WORTH MY TIME.

RIDE ON NICKY!
Ryder Notes: "Our Nick" by julian ryder on the ground in japan
Going to SBK now was a 'good fit,' after two tough years on the customer Honda. Nicky wouldn't say that the prospect of being the first man to win both titles was a motivation but he did admit the thought had crossed his mind. As had the idea of becoming the oldest AMA champ as well as the youngest. The old dream of going back to the dirt and winning a mile is, he said, receding into the distance but 'I am a lifer in this sport,' so rider management in the future is another prospect. 'My sport, my family; that's all I know.' We will miss him. |
IRON BUTTERFLY... STILL ALIVE?!
Iron Butterfly
Formed in 1966, Iron Butterfly has performed throughout the world. Their mega hit song "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" is a quintessential anthem to the 60's generation.
The Los Angeles music climate of the late sixties and seventies was characterized by the heavy sounds and sentiments that reflected the revolutionary attitudes of the generation. Bursting onto that scene was Iron Butterfly, whose sound not only epitomized the hard attitudes of the youth with its heavy drumming and bass lines, but also embraced more delicate aspirations through its intricate guitar and keyboard overlays.
Iron Butterfly was signed to ATCO records and released their first album, aptly titled "Heavy". While the band was on the road with the likes of The Doors, Jefferson Airplane, The Grateful Dead, Traffic, The Who, and Cream, their impressive debut stayed on Billboard's album charts for almost a year.
They followed up with the monumental LP, "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida", featuring the 17:05 minute side-long track that shook the entire music industry with its phenomenal reception. 'Vida outsold every record in the history of recorded music within the first year of its release and therefore outgrew and outsold the standard of the music industry's "Gold Album" award.
For this achievement, Iron Butterfly was subsequently awarded the industry's very first "Platinum Album". "In-A-Gadda-Da-Vida" stayed on the charts for 140 weeks, with 81 weeks in the Top Ten. To date, the album has sold in excess of 30 million copies and remains an undisputed classic in the archives of rock with DJ's and audiophiles worldwide.
